Providence Health Plan Welcomes Jack Hallmark as Vice President, Plan Operations

Jack Hallmark has joined the Providence Health Plan leadership team as vice president of Plan Operations.
As a senior operations leader, Jack will play an integral role in bringing our Mission and Promise to more communities as we implement our enterprise strategy while honoring our strong legacy and core values. Reporting to Cheryl Morrison, Chief Operating Officer, Jack will oversee our plan operations teams.
Jack joins PHP from Optum, a division of UnitedHealth Group. For the past 19 years, he has held several leadership roles within the organization’s Behavioral Health division – most recently as Senior Director of Process Improvement & Program Management for Optum Health’s Enterprise Clinical Services’ Behavioral Health Operations, where he developed, implemented, and influenced strategic initiatives and oversaw the configuration of applications to support operational teams.
A seasoned healthcare operations professional, Jack is a results-oriented strategic leader with a blend of hands-on business operations experience and proven record with transforming and developing high-performing teams to drive innovation, efficiency, growth and customer service focus.
Jack has an MBA from San Diego State University and completed UnitedHealth Group’s executive development program at The Wharton School - University of Pennsylvania. He resides in San Diego, Calif. and when away from work he enjoys the great outdoors through hiking, catching waves at the beach, enjoying a sunrise or sunset, yoga and spending quality time with family and friends. Married over 30 years, Jack has two adult sons and also enjoys his volunteer support as a board member with two local non-profit chapters of the American Youth Soccer Organization and American College of Healthcare Executives.
